1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

2. Services

Hogarth’s Pest Control provides pest control services in Michigan and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and may require an in-person inspection before final pricing is determined.

3. Communication Policy

By providing your phone number and/or email address, you expressly consent to receive communications from Hogarth’s Pest Control, including emails and text messages related to:

  • Appointment reminders
  • Service updates
  • Account information
  • Promotions and marketing

We may use email and/or SMS messaging to send requested information or service-related updates. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

4. Payment Policy

  • Payment for all services is due at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed.
  • If payment is not received within 15 days, a $25 late fee may be applied. Additional late fees may be applied every 15 days thereafter.
  • Accounts unpaid after 90 days may be placed on financial hold and sent to collections.
  • Accounts must be paid in full, including any late fees, before additional services can be scheduled.

Credit Card Authorization

  • Hogarth’s Pest Control requires a credit card on file for all new customers, or customers who have not received service consecutively each year.
  • By providing your credit card, you authorize Hogarth’s Pest Control to securely store your card on a PCI-compliant server.
  • You may add, remove, or update payment methods at any time by contacting us.
  • You authorize Hogarth’s Pest Control to charge the primary card on file for:
    • Unpaid or overdue invoices
    • Future scheduled services

Receipts will be emailed after each transaction.

5. Appointments, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

Appointment Confirmation

An appointment is considered confirmed once Hogarth’s Pest Control has made an attempt to contact you via phone call, voicemail, email, or text message with your scheduled date and time.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty until 5:00 PM on the day prior to your scheduled service.
  • There is no penalty for canceling or rescheduling an appointment that does not yet have a confirmed date and time.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made on the day of service may be subject to a cancellation fee at the discretion of Hogarth’s Pest Control.

Cancellation Fees

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid potential fees. Cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact information
  • Being available at the scheduled service time or ensuring access to the property
  • Notifying us promptly of any scheduling conflicts

6. Estimates and Pricing

  • Estimates provided online or over the phone are subject to change after inspection.
  • Final pricing may vary depending on property conditions and pest activity.

7. Property Access and Condition

By scheduling service, you agree to provide Hogarth’s Pest Control with safe and reasonable access to the property, including all necessary areas required to perform services.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that all service areas are accessible, including unlocking gates, securing pets, and providing clear entry paths.
  • If technicians are unable to access the property or required service areas, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled, and a service or cancellation fee may apply.

While our technicians take care to avoid unnecessary damage, certain services (including pest control treatments, inspections, and wildlife removal) may require accessing confined or structural areas such as attics, crawl spaces, wall voids, roofs, or exterior structures.

By accepting service, you acknowledge that:

  • Minor cosmetic damage (such as small holes, disturbance of insulation, or movement of materials) may occur as a necessary part of performing the service
  • Pre-existing damage, structural issues, or concealed conditions may be discovered during service
  • Hogarth’s Pest Control is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, structural deficiencies, or inaccessible/unsafe areas

Customers agree to disclose any known hazards or unsafe conditions prior to service. Hogarth’s Pest Control reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are deemed unsafe.

8. Photo and Media Use Policy

During the course of providing services, Hogarth’s Pest Control may take photographs or videos of areas being serviced for documentation, training, and quality assurance purposes.

By agreeing to our services, you grant Hogarth’s Pest Control permission to use such photos or videos for:

  • Internal records and documentation
  • Training and quality control
  • Marketing and promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media, and advertising materials

We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that:

  • No personally identifiable information (such as names, addresses, or recognizable individuals) is disclosed without additional consent
  • Images focus primarily on pest activity, treatment areas, or structural conditions

If you prefer that photos or videos taken at your property not be used for marketing purposes, you must notify us in writing prior to or at the time of service.

9. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use this website for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website
  • Interfere with website functionality

10. Intellectual Property
