Mice and rodents are very prevalent in our area. Mice can fit in a dime size hole. They also get in un-caulked areas around pipes, phone and cable lines as well as worn door thresholds. They like to invade structures in the spring and fall time, looking for food and moisture. This is common in cabins and cottages that are vacant at that time and through the winter. Exclusion on the structure as well as an exterior bait stations can prevent mice and rodents from invading your home.
Mice breed year round and can produce rapidly. Mice cause sanitary issues because they urinate and defecate where ever they may run they have no control of that, the average house mouse produces 40 to 100 fecal pellets daily. Even a small colony of mice can produce thousands of feces in a short period of time. Therefore causing a health issue if proper sanitation is not in place.
Mice gnaw and chew. they chew insulation, cable, phone and electrical cords and wires. This can be dangerous in schools, restaurants, homes, and businesses and can potentially introduce a fire hazard.
